Last week of Startup Garden 2016

Last Monday was our very last Monday of Startup Garden 2016 and we are all very sad. Hopefully, we will see familiar and new faces next summer! So what did we do on our very last Monday? After our weekly meeting, we had a special guest from Stanford’s Innovation Peace Lab Mark Nelson to give us a lecture about Behaviour Design.

On Tuesday we visited 3M at Otaniemi. What an inspiration! Who knew that one company can make so many innovative things? Did you know that you are probably not more than three meters away from a 3M product?

On Wednesday we were at Hietsu flea market selling all kinds of things until the rain surprised us. Luckily we managed to make a profit and got the chance to get into a conversation with our customers. After this, we had some spare time before our lecture at 4pm at Design Factory. At 7pm we had a farewell party at the Rooftop Sauna and we had a blast!

On Thursday we were at EduFlow. It was really interesting to learn about how the education system is changing since we are all students here. 🙂

Today is Friday and our last day here at Startup Garden 2016. We have come a long way and all I can say is WOW! Such an inspirational and educating four weeks we had.

We started the day with our final group presentations. We saw so much talent in one classroom!

After our traditional Friday brunch at 12am, we had our final pitching with an audience of over 100 people. Then we had our Diploma Ceremony and said our goodbyes.

Until next year!
